Key Features & Dual-Grit Versatility
-
Coarse 240 Grit (Repair Edge): Quickly removes minor nicks, burrs, and rolled edges caused by rocky soil, tough roots, or daily yard work.
-
Fine 600 Grit (Hone Edge): Refines and sharpens the blade edge for effortless slicing through stubborn weed taproots.
-
Handcrafted Leather Sheath: Includes a custom-fitted, genuine leather case for safe storage in your garden tote, belt loop, or workshop drawer.
-
Pocket-Sized & Field-Ready: Compact footprint measuring 2.9" x 0.9" makes it easy to carry into the yard or garden.
How to Use & Care Instructions
-
Water-Use Only: Do not use oil or sharpen dry. Oil will clog the stone’s pores and shorten its lifespan. Always soak the stone in water for 3–5 minutes before use and keep the surface wet while sharpening.
-
Sharpen: Hold your tool blade firmly at a 15–20 degree angle against the wet stone surface using smooth, circular strokes.
-
Store Dry: Rinse off metal slurry with clean water, wipe dry, and allow the stone to air-dry completely before tucking it back into its leather sheath.
